The Brits call them fairy lights.
Interesting. I'm not sure how that would be taken in Skokie though.
ita, perhaps someone should take you to the ER.

Headaches and the ER don't mix. And it's way too late to go in for a concussion. So I'll wait and see what answer I get back from my email to my GP in the morning.
I'm watching my first episode of Mythbusters. It's really irritating. They're looking at the Robin Hood arrow-splitting thing, and it's like they've never heard of experiment design. I'm assuming it's not characteristic of the show, but it certainly isn't endearing me to anything, or making me want to watch the other eps on the TiVo.
In case this hasn't been posted anywhere yet, I think we may have a new Buffista real estate investment: [link]
Isn't that SOP for any show that states its location? Either you laugh at the liberties or praise the accuracies.
This was what bugged me about Roswell. It was SO off that I couldn't even snark about the liberties. There were no accuracies. Well, except the space aliens.

No, that is in fact a characteristic of the show. You just have to fly with it.

Or delete the season pass. Guess which one I went with? Too much stuff that couldn't count.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Skipping (already...) to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Daniel C. Jensen's birthday. Happy birthday, Daniel! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year.
Hey! GA's pad is at Paul's old workplace? Sweet!
And, yeah. The train/truck/overpass OT3 couldn't happen here. It's how we're built. I mean, they do pass under the West Seattle Bridge, but they've got plenty of headroom there. Wait. How did the train hit the overpass? Did it go straight up? I'm confused. Did it hit the supports? WTF?

Bones lost me in the first few minutes by showing the lovely view of the Capitol building--as seen from Dulles Airport. Uh, no. Dulles is well out in Virginia.
Homicide not only got Baltimore right, they practically treated the city as if it were a character on the show.
Homicide should be considered the gold standard in "location" shows, but given how many locals and natives were involved in the production, they really did have a big advantage for that.
I'm surprisingly bleh for somebody who woke up an hour early. But I get to take the cat to the Vet before I go into work, so that would be part of it.
