Swouncing

Skipping (already...) to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Daniel C. Jensen's birthday. Happy birthday, Daniel! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Hey! GA's pad is at Paul's old workplace? Sweet!

And, yeah. The train/truck/overpass OT3 couldn't happen here. It's how we're built. I mean, they do pass under the West Seattle Bridge, but they've got plenty of headroom there. Wait. How did the train hit the overpass? Did it go straight up? I'm confused. Did it hit the supports? WTF?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Isn't that SOP for any show that states its location? Either you laugh at the liberties or praise the accuracies.

Bones lost me in the first few minutes by showing the lovely view of the Capitol building--as seen from Dulles Airport. Uh, no. Dulles is well out in Virginia.

Homicide not only got Baltimore right, they practically treated the city as if it were a character on the show.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Homicide should be considered the gold standard in "location" shows, but given how many locals and natives were involved in the production, they really did have a big advantage for that.

I'm surprisingly bleh for somebody who woke up an hour early. But I get to take the cat to the Vet before I go into work, so that would be part of it.

hip deep in pie

Timelies! This time change is keelling me. Actually, it's the cats waking me up at five and not being able to fall asleep again that is killing me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

No strike! Yay.

Happy Birthday Daniel!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Alito. Who is not, felicitous rhyming scheme aside, actually a Scalia clone but rather a principled and nice guy.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey! Everyone says they call him Scalito! What kind of right-wing propaganda are you trying to sell me, missy??

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Alito?

I have on a poodle skirt and a pink sweater and a scarf knotted around my neck. Sadly, this is less in costume than most Halloweens.
