Well, hopefully it is not measuring the basement, as I have no access to it (the other tenant does.) I am just afraid the whole damn thing is miswired and I am paying for part of her electricity (since this seems to coincide with the downstairs person moving in). We are also supposed to have completely separate hot water, but strangely, I can feel a drop in the hot water pressure if we are both taking a shower (in our respective apartments) at the same time.
I'll check out the meter, though...
Though I suspect his German best friend and the enormous quantities of alcohol they consumed may have played a part.
I also suspect this is what led to it ending up behind the furniture.
Heh. The LA Times really is that bad, isn't it? From this mornings online edition: [link]
oh! lori! there you are.
I want to build a rail gun. Will you help me?
Sophia, I have a one-bedroom apt., electric stove, TV, computer, etc. I have window unit a/c in the living room and bedroom, and I do not pay heat.

As you can see from the huge jump in the summer, I am a total WHORE for air conditioning, and I'm willing to pay for it.

A/C is a very good thing.
I have a headache, and I'm arguing with my boss about combining SQL inner and outer joins in a single stored procedure with three tables. Can I go home?
Can I go home?
Yes. But only if I don't have to go to work today. (I really should already be there)
Now I just chased my other boss's dog down and took a piece of gum from her. Somehow, taking gum from puppies seems more fun than arguing about SQL.
Thanks Steph-- That is very helpful.
