Sometimes I miss having powers... Oh. Oh! I know what this is! This is peer pressure! Any second now you're gonna make me smoke tobacco and--and have drugs!

What is even happening?

I officially hate today.

I have so many things to do, that I actually can't do most of them, because they involve being in more than one place at one time (unless Em can loan me whatever beam-me-up machine she's got working to get herself out of the crib).

The hour and a half I insisted on taking for myself, so that I could go see Deb at the party in Reading, Deb won't be there. I've thrown my whole house into an uproar for this hour and a half, and at least 90% of this is my fault, because of the assumptions I made about today.

Here's a towel if anyone needs it. *throws*

Our wings are not tired.

{{Cindy}} I'm sorry about the time issues. If I ever figure a way to get more hours in the day or a way to be in more than one place at a time I will share the info with you. I hope something happens to create an opportunity for Deb to meet you. I know it was very high on her list.

All the time my loved ones (including DH) tell me I should take more time for myself. Yeah right, where do people think this time is supposed to come from?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Snuggles and huggles and ~ma of all kinds for da Bitches.

I'm waiting with baited (using the scent of brownies to lay this trap) breath for the phone to ring. New person who has skipped out on two of her training days is scheduled to come in and assist with an outing for the residents. Supervisor asked yesterday if I would be willing to step in at the last minute, if she doesn't show. The new person is supposed to get there at 10:30, and if she doesn't show up, they'll call me. It's now 10:43. Coming soon to the end of any reasonable waiting period....

The brownie-baited breath is for Daniel, so that when he kisses me next, he can say, "Better figure that into my carb count for the day." Also? It's 10:45 now.

Oh, Cindy! That so sucks! I hope the day gets better, and you can figure a way to get over to see Deb.

Bwahahahahhahah. It's 10:48.

And? I'm eating more brownies. I'm not sure if the giggliness is from the chocolate high or from the possible not-having-to-work-a-12hr-day-ness.

Yay, WS! I'm glad you don't have to work. You deserve a nice day off.

I am going to beat my head against the wall. I am tutoring two students this semester for Intro to Behavioral Research. Since I've been sick the last month or so, I haven't really been able to help them with their papers. So, I went OUT OF MY WAY to ask their professor to give them an extension so I can see them two more times before their papers are due.

One of them just. doesn't. get. it. First, he thought I got an extension for the whole class. Then he didn't understand that he had to meet with me in order to get the extension. I have made it VERY clear that he has to meet with me TWICE in order to get the extension. It's the only way I could convince the prof to do it. So, I e-mailed him early this morning and said, "Ok. I canl see you Tuesday at 1 and Wednesday at 1:30." He just responded and said, "I'll see you Wednesday."

NO, kid. You'll see me BOTH Tuesday and Wednesday, or your paper is due tomorrow. How difficult is this?????
