Joyce: Dawn, you be good. Xander: We will. Just gonna play with some matches, run with scissors, take candy from some guy, I don't know his name.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Snuggles and huggles and ~ma of all kinds for da Bitches.

I'm waiting with baited (using the scent of brownies to lay this trap) breath for the phone to ring. New person who has skipped out on two of her training days is scheduled to come in and assist with an outing for the residents. Supervisor asked yesterday if I would be willing to step in at the last minute, if she doesn't show. The new person is supposed to get there at 10:30, and if she doesn't show up, they'll call me. It's now 10:43. Coming soon to the end of any reasonable waiting period....

The brownie-baited breath is for Daniel, so that when he kisses me next, he can say, "Better figure that into my carb count for the day." Also? It's 10:45 now.

Oh, Cindy! That so sucks! I hope the day gets better, and you can figure a way to get over to see Deb.

Bwahahahahhahah. It's 10:48.

And? I'm eating more brownies. I'm not sure if the giggliness is from the chocolate high or from the possible not-having-to-work-a-12hr-day-ness.

Yay, WS! I'm glad you don't have to work. You deserve a nice day off.

I am going to beat my head against the wall. I am tutoring two students this semester for Intro to Behavioral Research. Since I've been sick the last month or so, I haven't really been able to help them with their papers. So, I went OUT OF MY WAY to ask their professor to give them an extension so I can see them two more times before their papers are due.

One of them just. doesn't. get. it. First, he thought I got an extension for the whole class. Then he didn't understand that he had to meet with me in order to get the extension. I have made it VERY clear that he has to meet with me TWICE in order to get the extension. It's the only way I could convince the prof to do it. So, I e-mailed him early this morning and said, "Ok. I canl see you Tuesday at 1 and Wednesday at 1:30." He just responded and said, "I'll see you Wednesday."

NO, kid. You'll see me BOTH Tuesday and Wednesday, or your paper is due tomorrow. How difficult is this?????

Shoving warm gooey brownies and Harvey-purrs through the phone lines to share a bit of happiness with y'all.

There are cashews in the brownies, so if you are allergic, I guess you'd better reconfigure your spam filters. This is the 21st century, we can do this stuff, right?

It's 10:55; I think I'm free.

Woohoowoohoowoohoowoohoowoohoowoohoowoohoowoohoo! t /daffy duck

All is well that ends in pizza.

Sounds like a time for a email dopeslap.

Or at least a straightforward reply to say "You MUST meet with me BOTH Tuesday and Wednesday, or you will not get an extension, and your paper is due tomorrow."

Which is I'm sure what you've already done, but I'm expressing my incredulity at the cluelessness of your tutee.

Trust my rage

Cindy, I'm sorry your day has started out so badly. I hope it gets better. Andi, you are making my mouthwater. Warm brownies are so good. And with cashews? Yum!!
