Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I read all of the last 350 posts, but I didn't meara, too tired. I did want to say that everyone who posted pictures is absolutely gorgeous and it was so nice to see them, and {{{{J}}} so sorry. I hope this limbo passes quickly.
Yesterday I had to meet with the representative from the public school, the parent advocate, Aidan's teacher and his speech therapist all together for 2 hours to decide what happens with him when he turns 3. Probably he will continue just as he's going now, but it's the law that the city has to get involved when a child turns 3.
Then, I went and bought two new tires (Suzi! My sister in don't wanna spend it.) and then went and picked up Greg from work, went out to dinner, stopped and picked up a couple of outfits for the kids, came home, did some Christmas shopping online and went to sleep.
Today we got up, dressed the babies in their new outfits, went to the Sight Center's Christmas party, ate breakfast, saw Santa, got home, put the babies down for a nap, went to the grocery store and bought the groceries for the next week, came home, fed everyone, put the babies to bed, and then made some Christmas presents. Whew.
sj, the tree sounds lovely. I'm so glad you're feeling better.
Grr. I am trying to get directions for Dave to join me at my nephew's birthday party tomorrow, and I can't get the address to show up on any of the mapping sites. The road is a few years old, you would think it would be in the system by now.
Deena, that sounds like a crazy couple of days.
Skipping lots to say
Happy Anniversary Beth and Matt!!
Great pictures, Aimee and Ann.
eta: I hope you don't get called in, sj.
I forgot to say how gorgeous Anne looks, and the new haircut is great too. I love the highlights.
To bed for me. My nephew's first birthday party is tomorrow. I hope I don't get called into work, because if I do, I'll miss part of it, despite the fact that I asked for the time off.
In the new life line with MG...
But then, every year I think I'm getting a new chance and then, nsm.
Happy Appleversary Beth and Matt!
Anne, that haircut is perfect for you! I liked it before and I like it even better, this time.
{{sj}} A little belated, hon. Feel better.
Just back from the company Christmas party. Had a good time, but my feet were starting to get pretty ouchie even with gel inserts, so I finally toddled home to put on jammies. Also, make hot chocolate with a splash of orange muscat wine and marshmallows. Yum.
Oh, oh! Also, I finally got a cool charicature done! Last time they did this at our Christmas party, I waited in line for two hours and they cut it off with the couple in front of me. Grrr. This time, I got in line right quick and got an excellent picture. I'm going to have it framed.
aimee is very pretty, but when she is smileing at her baby.. there isn't anyone more beautiful in the 'verse. might have something to do with that good looking family.
anne looks lovely in her new hair
health ma to sj and erika's mom.
I sent this email to my family today
Yesterday we cooked Turkey, stuffing and gravy until 130 am . I think it was between 12/1230 am that matt helped a friend print signs. Since we were married at 2am - we stayed up. Niles home tour began at 12 - we were in the kitchen at 10. Tour ended at 5. party started at 6. then the kitchen crew cleaned up...feet no longer there....
I am a dork
I am also exhausted.
DAMN, that's a lot of gorgeousness!
I think I need some more Fay pictures to make it through the holidays. That's my reward system. Can you help me?
Bwah! You're just the best, Hec. Insh'allah there will be photographs once I've had my hair cut again.
Meanwhile, today's weigh-in news: I have now lost 22lb. Am VERY VERY chuffed indeed! That's 4lb this week, despite some unfortunate food choices and choir performances getting in the way of going to the gym several times. I know that it's going to slow down to 1lb a week before long, so I'm really enjoying this while it lasts.
The iPod is a lovely thing to look forward to, but having my clothes get too big/finding that I can wear clothes I've never been able to fit into? MUCH better as a motivator.
