[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hec, I missed your posts before going in, but wound up with something like this: [link] anyhow.

Gronk. So tired. Want snooze.

In my opinion, that would be a very beautiful look on you.

Show of hands. Who has seen the HBO Angels in America miniseries with Emma Thompson, Al Pacino and Meryl Streep?

If you haven't seen it...get it. It's got rich rich language and hot angel sex and snarky gay boys and fierce angels and history and politics and deep humanity. It's so very very good. Funny. Sexy. Heartbreaking.

Pictures?

After an hour of tossing and turning, I decided to get up. I sure hope I'm not up for the day, though, otherwise this is going to be a very long day.

Now tagless for your comfort.

YIKES! Very long. I feel wide awake, too. But I'll most likely be trying to get a nap in before the boy wakes up around 7 ish (I hope).

I'm car shopping online right now. I've gotten some very interesting replies to my requests for dealer quotes via email. I can just tell the personalities of the sales people who handle the internet sales. It'll be nice to walk into the dealerships next week for a test drive armed with a pre-approved loan and a starting quote well as a little personal insight into the sales person.

Oh, that is cool, Cashmere. (not the wide awake part...the personality of the salesmen)

I usually don't enjoy car shopping, but I read this yesterday and feel a bit more empowered. Those people better suck up to me big time if they want me to buy their vehicles.

Oh, good. I didn't sleep ALL night.

Poor WS!

ION, I just ordered the binding spirals for the cookbooks. So exciting! Gotta love the late-night (or early morning) shopping!

I'm really looking forward to seeing the cookbook! Go vw!

Is it just the weirdness of the hour and sleep deprivation that makes me start wondering if - with 3+ years of actual classes, and 6 years of work in my chosen field including some supervisory experience - I could find some "online university" to get a "life experience" based degree at?

ETA: Yeah, I know the thing is possible. The real question is, how distasteful would it be?

ETA2: It's 4:40 my time, and I've been awake for an hour.
