Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I tend to use Almay non-flaking mascara because if I'm wearing mascara, I'm wearing my contacts--dunno that it's that special for how my lashes look, but after using some kind of Maybelline one time and feeling like I had little tiny bits of mascara in my eyes (and irritating my contacts) all night, I was sold.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Ugh. I have showered, and now need to groom, dress and go shopping. It's is grey and GROSS out, and I have zero desire to do out, or to work tonight.

Ick, ick, ick.

At least I have a cute outfit.

I'm getting the pig!

Suzi-Q!! Tell K-Bug - *POKE* *POKE* for me.

I have a friend's party to attend tonight. It started snowing this morning. These two things are totally related because I don't particularly feel like going outside. Like, at all.

The only reason I *will* be going is because she'll have food there and I haven't had the time or inclination to buy groceries in about a week. Well, that and the part where she hunts me down and kills me if I don't show up.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I bought a package of "disposable" brushes off eBay. I just wash and reuse them, and I ALWAYS have a clean brush, no clumps, and no need to waste mascara by swiping off the excess. I just transfer from the original OEM brush to the one I'm using. Makes me so happy

Plei, I might be able to lay in a cheap supply of disposable mascara brushes from my sister the Mary Kay dealer. She only charges me her cost (40%, usually)--and I think those tester brushes are dirt cheap.

with Ben that a lot of times, when I get to the root of his stress, part of it comes from what he thinks Scott and I are going to think. Usually, we're much more mellow than his imaginary version of us.

My real parents were always scarier than my imaginary version of them.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

My real parents lived in a pink castle and would have given me a pony...

Heh.

Actually, today my voice teacher said her five year old son, who's adopted, sometimes says "my REAL mother would let me _______" when he's pissed off. She laughed and laughed (and sounded a little relieved) when I told her I don't think it's an adoption thing -- I used to say it too.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

My real parents were pretty cool. No ponies, though.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The ones I got were Mary Kay ones--they were pretty cheap on eBay (there was some other stuff with them, but I was in it for the brushes)--they're nice. Good thick, sturdy bristles.

I might be down with this plan.

Also, my real parents were Jay and Silent Bob, as I've discovered recently.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Plei, now that movie would be more fun than Jersey Girl.

Not to dimish the truth or importance of the statement.
