Plei, I might be able to lay in a cheap supply of disposable mascara brushes from my sister the Mary Kay dealer. She only charges me her cost (40%, usually)--and I think those tester brushes are dirt cheap.
The ones I got were Mary Kay ones--they were pretty cheap on eBay (there was some other stuff with them, but I was in it for the brushes)--they're nice. Good thick, sturdy bristles.
I might be down with this plan.

My One True Mascara is DiorShow. Yes, by Dior. Yes, kinda pricy ($25), and only comes in black. But it's the best mascara I've ever used.
