[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Happy Birthday, Jilli!
Having a baby shrinks you.
At least, it feels like it.
I have this weird vertigo every time I think back to how BIG my mother seemed and then realize that I'm about the same size that she used to be. And I feel about the same size I've always been. So for me, having a baby has had the strange effect of shrinking MY MOTHER.

About an hour after the second one was taken, I caught her eating a packet of Jack In The Box buttermilk ranch sauce. She was trying to suck it out of the packet like a vampire, but it got all over her shirt and hands and face and several pieces of furniture. It was fuh-nee.
Happy Birthday Jilli!
I had actual hot water in my shower today!
Also, it's much less windy and feels warmer even though it's only in the mid-20s F.
And I cannot complain because last night - I had heat while a friend told me today that her furnace chose to die yesterday and of course, she didn't notice 'til 9 pm. (Isn't that always the way.)
