It's Norweigan, I guess.
'Dirty Girls'
Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Emeline will toddle all over the livingroom with the wooden spoon held high above her head, and babbling.
I'm more inclined to think that the wooden spoon is standing in for a sword and she's saying, "Off with their heads!"
I am, as well, but Tatterhood was my favorite fairytale so...there ya go.
Heh. In that case, call me goatgirl.
t edit Uh, but not really. Because that would hurt my feelings and make me cry and cry and cry. Just call me pretty.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JILLI!!!!!!
ion, I have achieved peach fresca. Not as awesome as traditional fresca, but better than most sodas.
Happy Birthday, Jilli!!! Much surgery~ma to you.
They sent me home from work early because it was dead, dead, dead. I am trying to find the energy to go to the market.
mid day on black friday means no parking. and lots of people dragging their realtives around. and crying kids. Saleswise - no where near the biggest day. But it is the most chaotic day.
Don't dread it. you won't be bored, and you'll be too busy to know if you are hurting. Play some loudish, dancingish music on you way into work. Remember - all these people are here to give you money - it is your job to make it easy for them.
I think I am actually going to go in early so I can actually get a parking space and get some of my Christmas shopping done.
I hate chin hairs. They're actually making me contemplate laser treatments.
ION, the BBC brain sex thing tells me I have a perfectly balanced male/female brain. I prefer male faces that are more feminine (which is apparently influenced by menstrual cycles), and I had a perfect score on the rotate-objects test, which means I should be an engineer or something. Less than 10% of women can do that.
So I can empathize with people, but I'd rather be working with my jigsaw puzzle.
dilemma:
a client has invited me and a co-worker out to lunch (as well as another person who helped with the event not in our office) to thank us for a job well done with the conference we did for him. My co-worker refuses to go, she doesn't "do lunch" and has declined. I am annoyed about this because we are in a service oriented office and schmoozing with nice people, even though they are clients, is generally a good thing to do. I am not sure if I should go with my coworker not going, because she was the primary point of contact, and I only met him (the client) on site. But I feel bad blowing him off altogether and feel like *someone* should go to this lunch and be thanked.
Am I over thinking this? SHould I just tell him our office is busy that week? Should I go and steel myself for awkward social interaction? I don't know what to do.
Nora, I think you should go. It makes you look good, at the very least.
Nora, go. It'll be good for you.
