eta: best of luck in your surgery, Jillli. For what it's worth, I had general anaesthetic in June and came through with the same number of brain cells I started off with. (The friend who escorted me home said I was very entertaining.)
Hmmm. I think I'm going to have to pass on the boys getting the free FluMist at school. The warning says they should avoid close contact with at risk people for 3 weeks after the vaccine. My mother is 84 and DH's mother is going through radiation treatments for the next 5 weeks. So that's 2 grandparents they should avoid. It could be that if any of us had had the flu in the past I would feel differently. I'll have to talk to them about becoming compulsive about the hand washing. We have another week to decide.
Thunderstorms and tornado watch tonight. FLURRIES tomorrow. If anyone needs me, I'll be hibernating until spring.
