Bar maid! Bring me stronger ale! And some plump, succulent babies to eat!

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

When I was pregnant with Nick, my doctor told me I could drink a beer every night to relax.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

It's really rather amazing that any of us were ever born able to breathe or speak.

If I'd liked beer more, I would have taken him up on it. I did drink now and again, though. I'm so glad Nick's sane and relatively normal.

edit to fix pronoun confusion.

Always Anti-fascist!

I knew a guy with FAS once. For a person with FAS he was fairly functional but he had a lot of issues with women, ie. calling his birth mother "that drunk bitch who ruined my life" and he said he heard voices sometimes. He liked me though, once he knew he could say "motherfucker" unto infinity and I wouldn't scream or run away. I have that effect on guys.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

There are often alcohol related flamewars on pregnancy boards between US women and UK/European women. The US women are usually whole-hog teetotaling "YOU ARE DAMAGING YOUR BABY!!!" types, with the UK/Euro more, "You're so fucking uptight. Check what OUR government suggests as a reasonable amount. PS, STFU."

I have no idea why I'm sharing this, except to share the flame pain.

I am hiding the puppycat from her. She's still young and might get confused. Also puppycat might think it's a spa day and not get out of the pot of warm water.

Jilli, best thoughts for you and Dread Beast.

Well, that probably says a lot about our(USA) attitudes about alcohol.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Much love for Jilli's Beast. I miss my Beast. (How weird is that...we both have Beasts?)
