Sunnydale's got too many demons and not enough retail outlets.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

That's this year's winner. Eek.

Thrive to spite them

Those shoes are nasty. And someone would pay $150 for those?

I can't imagine who would want to wear those ... except maybe the same person who would make the fur trimmed poncho thing that Betsy linked to yesterday.

I clicked on that, and my first thought was "What the fuck? A tarantula?"

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

What did those poor shoes ever do to anybody, you know? Why treat innocent footware like that?

Raq, you've FORGOTTEN more of this stuff than some people will ever know. Please. You'll be on your feet within the month.

She knows that we don't have much set aside for her and that she will need to work for scholarships and student loans herself.

I know you and Mom are in different states, but she's found some good resources for her newly-acquired teenager. I'll ask her if she knows about anything national or californian.

I may have found this week's winner of the Ugly-Ass Shoe award

My eyes! My eyes!!!

It has fur, a big tacky-ass fake-jewel brooch thing, FRINGE HANGING OFF THE BACK, and lace across the instep.

And it's $150?!? *I* could design shoes if that's the kind of crap that's getting manufactured.

That would be great Trudy. K-Bug is a good student and an athlete. She is not a top tier softball player, though she could be, and her grades aren't straight A's, though she is taking AP courses in 10th grade.
