I had a whole section about civic pride.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

At least vw's survey doesn't take you to a page where you can buy a Salad Shooter.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

On new cell phones, WTF do they include in "equipment" for the tax? By my guesstimate, if they are charging tax at 8.25% on 2 phones totalling 99.98 that's only $8.25. Also, why did the online ordering tell me $36 and then the girl on the phone tell me $48???

Hee! I didn't even think of that.

You know what's fun? Watching the number of surveys go up. This is too cool.

Thrive to spite them

VW -- how much did it cost to get your brakes fixed? I found a guy I can take my car too, so this is good. I just have to make arrangements to get it there and to work and also how I'm going to pay for the repair. I don't think the guy will take an IOU.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

GRRRRRRRRR! Why don't these freaking phone people know how to enter my frequent flier number so I get my miles???

Mine were $350. But, I think they were pretty bad.

Herding cats for fun

{{{Aimee}}} Your grandpa looks like a heckuva good guy. Our world is better because of his time here. Plus I think taking Em is a Really Good Idea. My cousin brought his baby son to my Grandma's funeral, and he made all of us feel better, toddling around like a little redheaded symbol of hope.

I say that for the rest of the day, you have full rights to get the comfy chair, many tequila shots and a nice pedicure too.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Mine were $350. But, I think they were pretty bad.

I'm pretty sure that would be more than just the pads. I somehow managed to ruin the rotors (discs) in my Focus and it ended up costing me about $300.

Coding and Sleeping

Yeah if the breaks are just squeaking and not grinding, then it's probably just the pads and will likely be in the $100 ballpark, but if the breaks are also causing the car to vibrate then the rotor might need to be turned too and that will add another $50 - $90 or so.
