GRRRRRRRRR! Why don't these freaking phone people know how to enter my frequent flier number so I get my miles???

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Mine were $350. But, I think they were pretty bad.
{{{Aimee}}} Your grandpa looks like a heckuva good guy. Our world is better because of his time here. Plus I think taking Em is a Really Good Idea. My cousin brought his baby son to my Grandma's funeral, and he made all of us feel better, toddling around like a little redheaded symbol of hope.
I say that for the rest of the day, you have full rights to get the comfy chair, many tequila shots and a nice pedicure too.
Mine were $350. But, I think they were pretty bad.
I'm pretty sure that would be more than just the pads. I somehow managed to ruin the rotors (discs) in my Focus and it ended up costing me about $300.
Yeah if the breaks are just squeaking and not grinding, then it's probably just the pads and will likely be in the $100 ballpark, but if the breaks are also causing the car to vibrate then the rotor might need to be turned too and that will add another $50 - $90 or so.
Bug, not that I expect you to use this but "snarky" has a very dear place in the heart of Homicide fans as well, dating from the following
KELLERMAN: You sure you want me with you?
BAYLISS: Sure. Why?
KELLERMAN: Last time we worked together you were kind of...snarky.
BAYLISS: Snarky?
KELLERMAN: Yeah. Snarky. From the ancient Greek for "butthead".
Good to know, erika.
but if the breaks are also causing the car to vibrate then the rotor might need to be turned too and that will add another $50 - $90 or so.
And if the rotors are too bad off to be turned, they'll have to be replaced, which is when you end up in the $300+ teritory....
erikaj, thanks for posting that link to your interview in Press. I liked reading your take on writing and such.
Great interview, erika! Although it makes me realize that I've been thinking for all these years that there's an "e" at the end of your last name.
