But I understand. You gave up everything you had to find me. And you found me broken. It's hard for you.

Now tagless for your comfort.

A friend's sister just linked me to the provocateuse site--she loves it. I had to tell her I already knew of its existence.

Art Crawl!!!

I just went to check on the coffee that I put on about 20 minutes ago.

I forgot to turn on the machine.

I REALLY need caffeine this morning!

The best sandwich I ever had was from the covered market in Oxford. It was a split and toasted baguette, smeared with Brie and garlic, with shaved turkey, tomato and sprouts.

I made a second trip to Oxford, mainly for the sandwich.

the pear and fontina on toasted bread at the Nile cafe.

This sounds yummirific, and something I must have immediately. (Adds pears and fontina to grocery list.)

the after thanksgiving sandwich of homemade bread, stuffing, cranberry sauce and dark meat Turkey.

Probably my favorite sandwich ever, except I replace the dark meat with white, and add a bit of turkey skin. The next two months are my favorite food months, mostly because of the turkey factor.

egg salad, the simpler the better.

Had this last night--just eggs, mayo, and salt and pepper. I do not toast the bread, though, since that just crumbles away and I end up with egg salad in my lap. Crispy lettuce leaves are always of the good for every sandwich, though (except for grilled cheese, which requires only ketchup to be complete).

It is cold and damp here, and I just went outside for a smoke and about froze my tits off.

My favourite made at home sandwich is the Roast Chicken Melt. Leftover roast chicken (that has been infused with rosemary and garlic flavor in the raosting) leftoevers, and extra old cheddar on a whole wheat bagel put under the broiler for a few minutes. Yum!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Now that would be a crying shame. Do we need to get you a thermal bra?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Maybe you could put those little warming hand-packs in your bra?

Ooh, that would be nice! I'm ok inside; it's just one of those grey and damp fall days, today. Lovely, if I were tucked up inside under a blankie with a mug of tea and a book. Otherwise - not so much.

brillig

Someone should market nipple warmers, for those days when it's so cold it hurts. Hubby always volunteers, but I tell him it's awkward driving to work that way.
