Someone should market nipple warmers, for those days when it's so cold it hurts. Hubby always volunteers, but I tell him it's awkward driving to work that way.

Heh. My boobs stay pretty warm, but I would like thermal tights. I wear a lot of skirts, and my legs can get cold on the way to work.
I'm talking calculus textbooks, stuff like that. He never opens them, and if heaven forbid he ever needs to be reminded of the basic principles of calc, or chemistry, he can get a book out of the library. Or use the internets - it's what they were made for!
I will admit I am an unusual buffista, in that I don't like to keep books unlikely to be re-read around the house. If they aren't in regular rotation, don't have sentimental value, or aren't a rare or special edition of some kind, I say sell 'em and get 'em from the library if you need 'em again. I am not a hoarder.
They make wool tights, Erin. If the itch is a problem, layer with cotton underneath. It sounds silly to wear 2 pairs of tights, but it works.
I had to tell her I already knew of its existence.
Hee.
Speaking of tights, does anyone have a source for Queen sized wool or cotton tights? The Vermont Country Store tights look like they might not be quite big enough (I am shorter and fatter than the largest size)
I am 100% with you, flea. I've already gotten rid of probably half of the books I've bought for grad school -- anything that won't be a useful reference in my next job is OUT.

the after thanksgiving sandwich of homemade bread, stuffing, cranberry sauce and dark meat Turkey.
Oh my, the corner bar near where I worked in downtown Philly served a thanksgiving sandwich year round that was so good. There was gravy in there too. Hungry now.
This just in: I totally have the hots for Louis Freeh. Is that wrong?
Yes. I have it on good authority that he is a total tool.
I made a second trip to Oxford, mainly for the sandwich.
This happened to me too: I had an incredible sandwich at some beach cafe in Cinque Terre. What made it incredible was the tomato; I don't remember anything else that was on that sandwich. I went back the next day for the tomato.
Favorite sandwich: Zingermans had a special on Spanish items one February. They had a special sandwich with manchego and seed cake-- sweet bliss. I had it on like February 25 and went back every day after until the end of the month. I haven't had it since.
