Where'd they get CAT scan from?... I mean, did they test it on cats? Or does the machine sort of look like a cat?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hail Satan!

ahem.

Who wants to join my Satanic cult? No murder, though. In fact, all my Satanic cult will do is take the occasional holiday for Black Mass....

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Hail Satan!

That's, like, my favorite song ever.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Is "murderous" some meaning you're putting on the term 'satanic' or was it described as such in the article?

No. The article wasn't even about Satanic cults, and the figure I quoted was only used tangentially at best. In fact, part of my irritation with the idiotic figure is that it's thrown in despite the fact that, as far as I can tell, it has no relation to the rest of the article. Which was about the Vatican defending the practice of exorcism.

What prompted your question?

What prompted your question?

Could it be... Satan?

(sorry - am very tired.)

They wanted to impound your car for expired tags???

I thought you were still registered in NY at the time?

No, I bought my car in CA. I think they wanted to impound for "no license" because my license was still in NY. But I know that, when he looked up my registration in the system, there was no record of me having renewing my registration. Yet, I got my new tags the next day. Which was good since the fucker ticketed me for having an unregistered car.

I still had to spend a day in court. But I got everything dismissed.

Silence means security silence means approval

Frankly, I have never seen any evidence (and I've looked at lots) that's convinced me even a single "Satanic cult" has existed anywhere, ever.

coughScientologycough

Actually, I knew of some Satanic cult-type stuff in my hometown. Not the "listens to The Quiet Riot and The Led Zeppelin instead of the music of JESUS" Satanism the goofy religious types would use to scare up donat, er, the medi, er, the faithful.

We're talking a cross between skinheads and Satanists.

Our wings are not tired

Half the stuff I'm seen Christian churches do reviles me more than what Satanists are reputed to do.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Huh. My insurance agency decided to reinstate my renter's insurance policy out of the goodness of their heart, without me having to ask them to do so.

Of course, they want to charge me $210.60 to do so, and the property they are looking to insure is the apartment I lived in in Maine 8 years ago.

I believe the voice mail I left them may have been a little bit on the angry side.
