My feet pain me when I put them in the ocean water in Southern Maine (if it is cold enough).
So far, my feet pain me if I put them in ocean water that isn't Caribbean or the Indian Ocean off of Kenya. So far, all of the US is a wash. More updates as they come in.
We need a nice El Nino to warm up the water around here. And you need to visit Hawaii, also.

How warm does El Nino get the ocean?
[link] This says the warm water mass was 70-85F, but I don't know if that's actually measured. It was plenty warm enough to go swimming around at Pt Dume completely comfortably.
Thirteen miles. I once walked thirteen miles under the Spanish sun with a foot swollen like unto a club.
Learn from my example: always check the dimensions on your map of Madrid.
