Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Thirteen miles. I once walked thirteen miles under the Spanish sun with a foot swollen like unto a club.

Learn from my example: always check the dimensions on your map of Madrid.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's kinda creepy. But worth a shot.

eta: to lori, not to shrift. Totally not to shrift.

What can I say? I was young and poor, and fleeing the American government.

Madrid is 13miles across?

No El Nino in sight.

I have no concrete evidence that I actually walked thirteen miles, although the number sticks in my head like I'd done the math. I know is that I was totally on the opposite side of the city, and... it had to be Madrid. Yeah, because I had to go to Estación Sur. On the way to Barcelona, the bus showed Far From Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog in Spanish.

Good times.

I was told to watch out for the south swells, and surf when they're up. So freaking complicated. I just want to get out on the board again, without whining like a baby, and preferably delay the purchase of a 3/4 or heavier wetsuit.

There's a 4/3 half off at Sierra Trading Post. [link] Only 2 sizes, though.

Scarily, Cindy, when I go out googling for my sites, it happens at least once that I see a pic and go "That's hot! I need that!" and click through to my own site. I'm a victim of my own flakiness and ... obsessiveness?

I think I'm a ten. The suits I tried on to buy the one I have now fit very differently, despite claiming to be the same size.

Maybe you'd fit the size 9 that's on sale? You can always return it, which is what I need to do with three pairs of shoes I still have from them.
