We need a nice El Nino to warm up the water around here. And you need to visit Hawaii, also.

ChiKat - that link is fabulous!! The best part (for me) is when you hold down the mouse and shake him from side to side and then toss him back into the game.

I like pulling him around by his little neck.
How warm does El Nino get the ocean?
[link] This says the warm water mass was 70-85F, but I don't know if that's actually measured. It was plenty warm enough to go swimming around at Pt Dume completely comfortably.
Thirteen miles. I once walked thirteen miles under the Spanish sun with a foot swollen like unto a club.
Learn from my example: always check the dimensions on your map of Madrid.
That's kinda creepy. But worth a shot.
eta: to lori, not to shrift. Totally not to shrift.
What can I say? I was young and poor, and fleeing the American government.
Madrid is 13miles across?

No El Nino in sight.
I have no concrete evidence that I actually walked thirteen miles, although the number sticks in my head like I'd done the math. I know is that I was totally on the opposite side of the city, and... it had to be Madrid. Yeah, because I had to go to Estación Sur. On the way to Barcelona, the bus showed Far From Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog in Spanish.
Good times.
