Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Do your ears hang low?
Do they waggle to and fro?
Can you tie them in a knot?
Can you tie them in a bow?
Can you throw them over your shoulder,
Like a Continental soldier?
DO YOUR EARS HANG LOW????

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I think having one's eyes well up with tears of sadness or rage is different than all out crying, just as an angry tone of voice or getting a red face is different than screaming "Fuck you, I hope you die!" at some cowering assistant. I have seen too much asshat behavior toward employees (and sometimes coworkers) excused by "I can't help how I feel." Having feelings is natural and human--how you act on them is under your control most of the time.

nobody loves me
everybody hates me
I'm gonna go eat worms
big fat juicy ones
long slim slimy ones
I'm gonna go eat worms!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

So, Maya's doing the LOST party thing again next year. Weird thing? I already am getting phone calls about it, one of which was someone who told me that I could not allow someone she didn't like to purchase a ticket.

I was just reading through LJs and caught a bit of the controversy, but I still don't know what the deal is.

It just seems such an odd thing to do.

Oh, msbelle, I'm supposed to remind you to not knit with chenille, since we're passing around reminders.

Talk more! I'm trying desperately not to do homework here!

Hey, what are good new-mom gifts, if one doesn't know if the couple's registered?

I've phrased this badly. I don't want the kind of gifts one would register for, because I have no way of knowing if she already has them or not. And I may just go with a gift certificate, or ask about a registry, but I was wondering if people had unusual-type suggestions.

Lotions and nice bath/shower things.

do you want the gift to be for the baby or the mom?
