Reavers ain't men. Or they forgot how to be. Now they're just nothing. They got out to the edge of the galaxy, to that place of nothing, and that's what they became.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Oh, msbelle, I'm supposed to remind you to not knit with chenille, since we're passing around reminders.

Talk more! I'm trying desperately not to do homework here!

Hey, what are good new-mom gifts, if one doesn't know if the couple's registered?

I've phrased this badly. I don't want the kind of gifts one would register for, because I have no way of knowing if she already has them or not. And I may just go with a gift certificate, or ask about a registry, but I was wondering if people had unusual-type suggestions.

Librarian Warlord

what are good new-mom gifts

Depending on the baby/family, I often like to give a token gift to the little bugger (bibs, towels, etc.) and then a generous g.c. to a take-out restaurant for the parents.
