Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

Last phone call MADE.

Now I just have to tackle the list of target store, grocery store, vacuum and rent a carpet cleaner at some point this week.

What is even happening?

That shows up fine for me. Also, I noticed ita just linked LotR as Told by Princess Bride in the Firefly thread, it showed up fine, too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hey, sara, come visit me with a carpet cleaner! I promise, I'll clean the carpet myself. I just don't want to do the hauling.

Sometime, while I wasn't looking, LJ added the functionality to add your schools to your profile. My Jamaican HS is on the list, but the London one wasn't. Which doesn't surprise me at all, what with how ungooglable those crazy kids are.

I just don't want to do the hauling.

Me either, which is how it got on my list of things I've been procrastinating. Haul to my car, haul up 2.5 flights, shove furniture around, haul back down...uhg. But my carpet has a few stains (from water being spilled or cleanups that apparently I didn't do so well on?!) that are just driving me nuts.

Silence means security silence means approval

organic vegetarian kosher ham.

There are so many things wrong with that phrase.

Wronger that tofurkey?

A few years ago I had some fat-free cheese, and I decided there was no food on this planet more disgusting than that. Because, you know, CHEESE IS COMPRESSED AND AGED FAT.

I like the Morningstar veggie burgers, because they're not trying to make hamburger patties that taste like cow. Trying to make veggie products taste like meat will always fail because they're not made of meat. It'd be like making corn-on-the-cob out of ground pork.

I cut my cheese fat intake by buying a block of very pungent Cabrales cheese that's flavorful enough to eat only a teaspoon's worth per sitting. Of course, I do need to follow through with the calcium-enriched OJ to compensate.
