Is there any other technology I should buy soon, so as to afford other people a chance to get their hands on some new, really exciting and/or useful enhancement?

This is like me and guys I date getting married to the very next person they date.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

This is like me and guys I date getting married to the very next person they date.

Similarly, everyone I work with ends up with sprog. So if anyone's trying to conceive, hire me. The job need not (in fact, had better not, given my skill set) be directly sprog-related.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Will someone loan me the motivation to eat the kashi I bought for breakfast? I've had it around for two mornings now and whenever I look at it I imagine eating sawdust. (Though since I've been eating apples in the mornings it's not a total loss...)

Put some fruit in the kashi.

Jesse, what's the paper about? Maybe explaining to us will help arrange it in your (poor colded) head.

Each of my roommates (um, former roommates) got married not too long after moving into my apartment. Somebody said that we should put this characteristic (or, some would say, skill) on the description of the available room, next time it happens.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's actually really straightforward and well laid out in the assignment. I just have to gather a bunch of information, make sense of it, and do some analysis. Luckily, the information-gathering part is easy -- a lot of cutting and pasting off websites. At least it makes it look like I have a lot done....

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Nilly, me too! It's quite a mystical power, I feel.

I wonder what would happen if we ever lived together....

Double spacing and a big font. You can reduce it later, but the feeling of "look, I've accomplished something already, it's not just me and the empty white page!" is something that at least I quite need.

To tie two copics of the conversation together: you'll have Hebrew fonts on your computer!

But, hey, wanna come over here and check it out?

In fact, I just talked about you last night. One of my roommates (oh, all the conversation ties up) told me about going to a certain synagogue on the last Yom-Kippur, where the prayer was so much prettier than the one she was used to from her parent's synagogue, that the way the prayer was sung and the words pronouned made her understand them better, resonate more for her. I told her about that shabbat in SF, when you sat with me in deb's kitchen during the blessing of the wine, and I translated it to English for you. It made me understand better, deeper, words that I've known by heart, that I can't remember when I didn't know them, but still not in the same way.

That's one of my favorite memories!
