I told her about that shabbat in SF, when you sat with me in deb's kitchen during the blessing of the wine, and I translated it to English for you. It made me understand better, deeper, words that I've known by heart, that I can't remember when I didn't know them, but still not in the same way.
That's one of my favorite memories!
I am wildly cranky today, and the worst part is that it's my own fault for not going to bed at a decent hour. Rarr.
I slept so much yesterday (napped after I came home with the migraine -- slept the heavy limbed sleep and then went to be early). Still woke up reluctantly, which isn't like me.
Still, I've dropped three classes from my krav assisting schedule. Just need to make it to December, then I can rejuggle.

It takes two to create one of those.
ita, what happens in December?
should I be bothered that I did not start dating anyone while Nilly stayed with me? I think this means you have toi come back and visit for longer.
ita, what happens in December?
Santa comes and fixes all her ailings and time problems.

Brown belt test the first week. God, I need to get my cardio up -- and the PT says I can't run. Tosser. Well, I can run in the pool. I should run in the pool. Tomorrow morning, ita runs in the pool.

t loves Nilly
ita, I know at least three high-tech companies that use internal wikis extensively. They're a very, very handy way for engineers to (A) communicate (B) document their thoughts. Editing a wiki is perceived as much more lightweight than authoring HTML or using a word processor.
I do love Nilly, but now I'm earwormed. And not even Rob Base:
One can have a dream baby
Two can make a dream so real
One can talk about living love
Two can see how it really feels
One can wish upon a star
Two can make a wish come true
One can stand alone in the dark
Two can make the light shine through
Ouch.
Saw a custom license plate today:
MY 6E YF
-- and the plate holder said "GIFT FOR MY SEXY WIFE". Icky enough, but it was a Taurus. Evidently not
that
sexy.

That makes sense. I'd be interested to know if they come in useful (or have any internal profile) in companies where geeks aren't near the top of the food chain.
