ita, I keep seeing ads for this documentary on CTV, and I think of you every time: Girls Don't Fight ETA: Not that you box or wrestle...

msbelle, why did you promise your grandmother you'd take the slow bus?

I hate the traffic on rainy days.

People are morons.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There wouldn't be a chance you could record that for me, could you, Sue? That looks really fascinating (and undoubtedly would cause me to weep like a baby).

Because books.

Nobody else has the sitcom theme song love? It's like I don't even know you people any more.

When I would run out of songs to sing to the kids when they were babies, I used to sing The Brady Bunch theme, and sometimes the one from Gilligan's Island.

Ah. I see. Well, I think it is sweet that you do stuff to ease her worries.

(Me, I'd lie. But then, me and my grandmother were rather at odds a lot of the time.)

I would lie too. I would lie to my parents also.

and maybe I make these promises to her because I am at ill at ease and do not realize it....A string of sirens just went by our building, honking horns and blaring and everything in my body started going faster.
