Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Theo, your SUV gets 3 mpg less than my compact Cobalt on the highway. Unless it also belches black smoke from the exhaust pipe, I think you can ignore any twinges of environmental conscience.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

still twitches slightly at the S acronym

When we kill people it makes the policemen flustered and stern.

Theo, you got a fine, fine vehicle. Of all the AWD cars on the market that's the good chassis, and infinitely upgradable via the aftermarket. And it's not an SUV. It's a rallye car for people who like boxy vehicles.

I just can't figure out why new cars get such low fuel economy, I get 30 MPG in my 12 year old $100 junker. *shrug*

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Emmett: Still My Hero.

He's watching Tombstone now. He talked me into going to Amoeba and seeing if the special edition was available used. It was.

Happy Alibelle day! Which may sound like a belated birthday wish, but really is just an announcement that every time we see Alibelle it's a good thing.

Silence means security silence means approval

DW, have you tried unhooking the cable then hooking it up again?

Cable was completely out, and apparently it was so across a big chunk of the North End. It's back now, though.

That's the Serenity effect.

Which reminds me of the Onion article a couple of weeks ago:

LOS ANGELES—Executives at Fox TV canceled Judd Apatow's box-office hit The 40-Year-Old Virgin Monday. "We love Judd's work, but aging virgins aren't a demographic we're looking to target," Fox Entertainment President Peter Liguori said. "Maybe it will be a cult hit on DVD." Virgin joins Undeclared, Freaks And Geeks, The Ben Stiller Show, and several unaired TV pilots on the list of critically acclaimed but canceled Apatow projects. Fox TV executives said the cancellation will allow them to focus their efforts on Stacked, starring Pamela Anderson.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

BJunior's, like, Brendon-sized! When did that happen?

He's 6'1" or more at this point. He's 13 so I don't think he's done yet. Only about 150 pounds. I've started wearing heels.
