[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Oh, yeowch.

My poor kitty is in heat; I am getting her fixed next week, but she went into heat before her appt. I feel so bad for her; it looks absolutely miserable.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

it's much better- gets a little creaky every once in a while, but other than that OK. Though, I've noticed that the area previously affected (lower back) is now, sometimes, like going numb? Like, I feel like something's on it? I notice especially when in bed, or this morning I noticed when I was in the shower. that's new, started, hmm, Monday night. So I don't know if there's nerve damage working itself out or I left those heat wraps on for too long or what.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Yay for no cancer.

We spent about two hours in the Children's Hospital ER last night, even though we now realize Annabel's elbow had already snapped back into place by the time we got there. As a result she was nearly three hours late getting to bed, which threw her sleep schedule off somehow and made her wake up for an hour or so at 3:00 a.m.

I'm the only one in the household awake at the moment, and I fully expect to gronk and grumble my way through the day.

Did she have a case of nursemaid's elbow? I've read that it's fairly easy for kids to jerk their elbow (especially when being held by their hands) into a partial dislocation.

Yep. Dylan posted about it upthread last night. No more swinging Annabel by the arms for us.

Skimmer! Yeah, that's what Dylan said last night.

Ugh with the sleep, and may it go right back to normal.

Because books.

Yikes, Susan. Glad she's okay. We had something similar happen with Ben when he was two -- he swallowed a dime and had it caught in his throat. He could still breathe, but we realized as we walked into the ER that he had swallowed it completely. Which meant three hours of waiting and X rays to hear, "It'll show up on the other end eventually."

Yay sj! Congratulations!

Our wings are not tired.

I always worried about that with the boys. All the neighborhood kids want DH to swing them around. It hasn't happened yet, but it worries me. That and tossing them around in the pool which freaks me out. But the kids squeal and laugh the whole time.
