Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

This just in: blue eyeshadow makes me look like a clown. Or a whore. Or a clown that was so unfunny that she had to become a whore.

This is why I never wore it in the 80s.

Also, dark eyeliner on the inner rim of my eye, which looks whorish AND makes your eyes look smaller, which is why I never did it in the 80s.

Also 3 different earrings. (I have my left ear double-pierced; I did it in 1986, because Molly Ringwald had one ear double-pierced and I wanted to be cool like her. No, really.)

Hair somewhat poofy, but I'm constitutionally incapable of deliberately making my hair look like shit. (Of course, my hair looking like shit all on its own is a whole other story.)

It's 70 degrees here, which is WRONG wrong wrong, and so I'm going to skip the oxford shirt over the polo, lest I die of heatstroke. (I get really hot in crowded places -- and while my friend's house, where the benefit is, happens to be a 3-story enormous Victorian [he's an ER doctor, which is why he can afford such a place at the tender age of 31, which is when he bought it], it's still indoors, and about 150-200 people are expected to show.)

Gah. That's a lot of people. Y'all know how I feel about crowds. Eeep.

Fuck. Gotta go.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Have fun storming the castle!

Enjoy! I went to a gay alum thing--two of the boys who graduated my year are now living in a swanky swanky building with a fancy rooftop deck, so it was up there. I'm horribly jealous of their real-estate. Sigh. The shocking thing was, there were actually other GIRLS there for once! Normally I'm the only one. They were not, technically, alums yet--they're first year law students (there were like, ten 1Ls, two of them girls). One of them ended up hitting on me a lot, but she was not at all my type. Sigh. Why couldn't she have been a cute girl I'd WANT to take home?

And now it's 8:30, and I'm already dressed ot go out, but I have nowhere to go. Le sigh. And my usual Saturday night plans are thwarted--my boys are going to someone's party and not to the bar they usually hang out at, so I can't go hang out with them. Damn them! Hmph.

Hey. New board.

You don't happen to live in NYC, meara? I'd think I would remember that. But I, too, am itching for a party.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Last Tuesday I bit the bullet and got hooked up with Fast DSL for $35/mo for 6Mbps downloads.

I cancelled cable TV and our cable modem service Friday. As of next Tuesday they will disconnect that and we will be on roof antenna.

If I forget to pay the remaining $29.88 I owe the cable company will they reconnect me in spite?

Nope, Gris--live in DC. Georgetown alum thing.

Still no idea what to do of an evening. Lame. Suppose I could go to the movies, but even that--I have a free admit-two pass, so it seems wasteful to pay, but even more wasteful to go on my own and not bring someone.

'Til we dance away...

The internet is dead today. Maybe I'm on the wrong one.

I'm trying to keep busy this weekend, hopefully I'm heading out for the night. I was supposed to be getting married tomorrow. I'm doing better than I thought would be. In the next few days I need to try and just get rid of the dress and everything else, and hopefully after awhile, October 16 will just be like any other day.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

This just in: blue eyeshadow makes me look like a clown. Or a whore. Or a clown that was so unfunny that she had to become a whore.

I've seen clown porn.

Unrelatedly, in Emmett's opinion "Orlando Cepeda" is the best and most euphonius name ever.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I've seen clown porn.

And apparantly lived to tell about it.

(Except, don't.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Because erika tends to not believe me about this stuff, and Tommy's a big pussy.

(A Village Voice article, not a screaming porn site with berjillion popups.)
