[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

vw, why can't you charge her the same rate you'd charge in person? Is this is a private arrangement or part of an organized tutoring service that structures things that way? Because there are certainly all kinds of people who charge for email consulting of various kinds.

See, I work for the school. I have to do the tutoring on campus to get paid. The tutoring is free for the students, so I doubt she wants to pay.

Can you contact whoever is paying you and ask if they have any suggestions, vw? Because you should be getting paid, whether you're across the desk from her or not.

Yeah, I'll probably stop by and ask Molly tomorrow.

Thanks guys! I did e-mail the girl to see if there is *any* time she could meet. We'll see what she says.

Sassy, Ginger has good advice.

'Til we dance away...

Thanks for the advice. I guess I'm just afraid that people will think it's flakey, but if y'all have hired people this way before, I trust you. Now it's time to dust off the resume and figure out what to do about the last 4 months of not working.

I'm getting the pig!

{{{Bitches}}} Even for the happy happy good news having Bitches because a happy hug is just as nice as a sad hug.

Juliana, I hope everything goes well with the therapist. Remember that if you aren't a good fit with the therapist, you should find a new one. Especially if he/she starts off your first session with any sort of blame. Which I doubt but I wanted to throw that out there.

I can go to parties and socialize and interact with the other humans, but by and large, I prefer not to. That's not Aspergers, that's just me being a curmudgeon.

This. Or mostly this. From time to time I will actually crave human interaction. But it's much like my period in the sense that it's erratic and the craving only shows up about once a month. Not at the same time as my period, though, since that would be crazy. Bad cramps + loud room full of people = homicide and white chalk outlines.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

A year ago today, I looked like this.

What is even happening?

Could it be at the same time as you're ovulating? Hormones are bad drugs, man.

Studies show that women are more social, wear skimpier clothing and more make-up when they/re ovulating. We are the victims of our biological urges. Anyone who says that humans are "beyond" instinct? On crack.

Thrive to spite them

My period isn't always regular, but a lot of times I can tell that PMS is on it's way because I start thinking about sex all the time.

That's the norm. But if something is a tad off (and hormones are tricky little cheaters), it could be.

I'm supporting the case, here. Ovulation = increased socialization, even if the occurance of ovulation is erratic. They coincide.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

The universe needs to make a special effort to treat Cass better.
I'm tattooing this on my fanny. And then the next thing the universe does to try and unhinge me, I shall tell it to take a good look and then kiss my ass.

Unemployment is filed.

I didn't take the test. Because I actually felt anxiety about the lj underwear one earlier and frankly I don't need that kind of stress. Currently commando, fwiw.
