Sigh- the thing is, one of my very best friends in the world is getting married on Monday in the Poconos, and the thought of driving 5+ hours there and back just makes me want to cry. But I don't want to miss it either.

do I want Cooks Illustrated chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream frosting or do I want homemade chocolate chip cookies? I can only pick one as my treat for the weekend.
I have been wanting the cupcakes for ages, but I wonder if they will be too rich/large for snacking, and the cookies will be more snackable.
