Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Spike ,'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Nothing wrong with lusting after folks with unconventional looks.

We're back from The Corpse Bride. I liked it a little more on second viewing because the only way the movie works is if you view it as the Corpse Bride's story, instead of Victor and Victoria.

Still, Emmett agreed with me that Mirrormask was better. More intriguing and suspenseful and beautiful and complex.

Our wings are not tired.

DH is totally hot for Janis.

Always Anti-fascist!

Aw, heck, Hec, I wasn't being serious...it was just funny finding myself thinking "Yeah. If." ETA: Yeah, Laura, in many cases pretty and hot are not the same, which I tried to explain to some guy in livejournal a few weeks back. Of course, blunt me was trying to tell him he could be hot to women without being pretty in the classical sense. Next time, maybe a bit less honest. But you can totally think somebody is attractive without viewing their photo as an occasion of sin. Am I right? It works the opposite too, because I think Julia Roberts is pretty but about the least sensual woman I've ever seen

What makes you think I was?

Hey Lilty! Miss seeing you around. Are you having adventures?

Dang, my legs and back are killing me from walking all over downtown with Emmett. There's a big Halloween store at the Metreon now.

Oooh! I almost forgot. The new Cody's Books has opened downtown and it's HUGE.

So if the visiting Buffistas head downtown to Lush, they should check out Cody's and the Halloween store.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Can't understand the Janis Joplin hate. Voice of pure ragged soul and emotion.

Well, yeah, I've got a little crush on you, after all, Hecubot. Obviously, model-ness is not a prereq.;) Wow, compliment and burn. Dig my mad rhetorical skills. My celibacy-enforcing rhetorical skills. My rap needs work. ETA: Oh, or possibly Arizona men don't know what's good, as Bitch men give Janis their support.

If singing ability and brains didn't overcome physical attributes, the world wouldn't have Liv Tyler.

It's a pity the Firefly thread has become NAFDA. I can't just pop in and mention that I was flipping channels and saw that MTV News has a special Flick'd bit on Serenity. [link]

Also? Serenity is the #1 requested movie on Moviephone.com theater lookup site.

Silence means security silence means approval

Friday estimates are in on Firefly.

Bad news: $3.9M, second to Flightplan ($4.4M).

Good news: $1782/screen, second to A History of Violence ($1866).

Indifferent news: Man, this is going to be a weak box office weekend.
