Spike: You pissed in the Big Man's Chair? That's fantastic! Gunn: Spike, can you please turn off that warm fuzzy? Spike: What, the Lorne thing? Worn off. I just think that's bloody fabulous.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Silence means security silence means approval

No cable. No cable modem. No football. No baseball. No email. No nuttin.

And it is, apparently, a MAJOR situation that is being "rectified" according to the Comcast message.

How am I posting, you ask? Work has something called "dial-in" where you can plug your "telephone modem" into a "land line jack." Such quaint old technology. I guess this is what they used to use back in the days of Rome.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

OPENING 10/07/2005

WASHINGTON

Landmark Varsity Theater Seattle, WA

From the Sony site

It's not coming to Cincy until the end of this month. But at least it's coming here.

Also, gronk. Stayed up until 3 a.m. watching The Pillow Book with some friends (also drinking a little too much wine). And now I can't quite wake up, despite the coffee.

Gorgeous day, though. Mid-70s, no humidity, not a cloud in the sky. Going out to Indiana later to cousin's new farm, for housewarming/hayride/riding horsies/hiking. Should be fun.

Since giving it to her less than two minutes ago, she has dumped my water, attacked the dog, and scratched the furniture.

That'll teach you.

Huh. There's going to be an annular eclipse on Monday, but the forecast is for rain. It's rained for 10 straight days, you'd think it could take a break.

Always Anti-fascist!

Mom and I had a strange conversation today about men and Janis. How most of the ones we know don't like her, including her idiot bf who called her stuff "crap". Idiot. But the weird part's this I remembered some guy I knew that had fantasies about Ms. Joplin and mom said "But she's ugly. What if you had fantasies about an ugly guy?" Do you think it would fuck with our relationship if I said I lusted for ugly guys all the time? I mean, Belzer's not pretty, but I find him hot. My crush for David Simon was, I admit, a bit stronger before I knew what he looked like, but his prose still makes me weak. I find Denis Leary strange to look at, but he kinda turns me on anyway.
