And I need to drink more water. I'm terrible about getting enough water.
Hockey starts on October 5! Tampa has played 2 preseasons games. In the first they beat Detroit 5-3, then yesterday they lost to Montreal 1-6. I'm not sure what line up they used for the two games. The Bolts website SUCKS big time.
It's so nice to go to ESPN and see the "scores" link under NHL.
Also, Hec -- you read Herself's LJ, right? She posted pictures of her new haircut today.
I don't eat liver. But I use onions almost every time I cook and I love spinach and eat it alot.
I don't want a multivitamin with calcium AND iron, b/c they cancel each other out when taken together
Like askye, I just checked my bottle of multivitamins. Teppy, do you have problems with the B-complex making you flush? I did, and it was actually painful.

I don't, but I also don't think the dose of niacin in my B-complex is high enough to make me flush. My dad takes a VERY high dose of niacin for cardioprotection, and it makes him flush, not painfully, but pretty intensely.
Is it really only 8:30pm? I want it to be bedtime already! It has been a long day, but really. I'm getting old.
Also, I want Teppy's comic-boy who clearly loves her. But, I'm jealous. Maybe I could get a comic-boy of my own.
If I ever went to the comic store.
Oh, yes! I forgot Ginger. Poor, Ginger! I hope it doesn't last long, 'cause that's NO fun at all.

I don't think the onions have iron, maybe, but I think they do have vitamin C, which either helps with iron metabolism, or screws it. I'd dig out my nutrition text, but I'm too lazy. At any rate, the onions are just the garnish for the liver, which is chocked full of iron, but also is organ meat, and so is big on cholesterol. It's a trade off.
Spinach is good, though.

You can get non-flushing niacin. The first time my mom's partner took niacin and flushed, he thought he was having a heart attack. Fortunately, my mom pointed out the niacin, and told him about the non-flushing option for the future. Then, he decided he kind of liked the flush, so stuck with the regular stuff.
