She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I need to put that with my other meds so I'll take it at night.

I actually bought one of those plastic day-of-the-week pill containers and put my vitamins in it, so that I'd be able to tell on any given day if I'd taken them or not. (I don't take *that* many, but enough that opening several bottles, extracting a pill, closing several bottles, and putting them away -- every day -- was tedious enough that I'd just say fuck it.)

Or -- maybe I do take a lot. (1) Multivitamin (Flintstones chewables, b/c the American diet of even the most die-hard junk-food eater gives you *some* of the nutrients you need, and an "adult" multivitamin that has 100% is overkill, to me. Plus, I don't want a multivitamin with calcium AND iron, b/c they cancel each other out when taken together.), (2) B-complex (said to be good for the heart, and I have reason to want to take extra-good care of my heart), (3) a big honking fish oil supplement (see explanation for #2), and (4) probiotics for my gut (which I don't always take; just when my tummy acts up, and then I take them for a month).

Oh, and calcium, but I take that with dinner, so that I don't take it with my multi.

Is that a lot? Suddenly it sounds like a lot.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cindy, as funny as it was to read, I'm sorry about the suckage. It actually made me laugh when I really needed it. Christopher came home to announce a $500 reimbursement from our flex spending account was "lost" and I'd have to dig up all the receipts or get copies so he could file it again. I was nearly in tears because we could really use that money. Turns out I have copies in my files, but the delay is going to suck big time. *sigh*

I think he loves me. Plus, the little Angel figure has the option of being shirtless!!! How cute is that? And the head has a face on each side, so he can be vamp!Angel or non-vamp!Angel, according to my whim.

Teppy! That's so cool! Christopher went in to my old shop (now defunct) to buy my Buffy DVD's and the comic guy knew they were for me. He said, "I think I know your wife. Kind of cute, hates her job?" Too bad that place closed.

Ginger, I really hope you're feeling better quickly. Barfing sucks, as do high temps.

Thrive to spite them

I just checked my multivitamin -- Calcium and Iron, so I guess that's a waste right there. The kids chewables sounds like a good idea.

Do I need an iron supplement if I'm not anemic? I know I need to take calcium. And I guess B Complex would be a good idea.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Fuckety. A's lose big today. Hope Texas can pound the Angels.

Also? Barry Bonds just hit his 4th home run since coming back last week. Apparently the one he hit last night into the upper deck of RFK is the longest ever hit there. He's already got one in today's game too.

It's so ridiculous to contemplate that he could come back in mid-September and actually push the Giants into contention.

They don't cancel each other out 100%, but they do to some degree. I'm just anal enough to try to avoid it.

Not above what you get in a multivitamin. Women tend to need more iron, b/c of the whole menstrual thing, but you don't need excessive amounts.

At the Pork Store Diner you can get fried liver and onions with a side of sauteed spinach. And then magnets stick to your ass.

They already do.

Hm. Perhaps I've said too much....

And I need to drink more water. I'm terrible about getting enough water.

Hockey starts on October 5! Tampa has played 2 preseasons games. In the first they beat Detroit 5-3, then yesterday they lost to Montreal 1-6. I'm not sure what line up they used for the two games. The Bolts website SUCKS big time.

It's so nice to go to ESPN and see the "scores" link under NHL.
