Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thrive to spite them

I just checked my multivitamin -- Calcium and Iron, so I guess that's a waste right there. The kids chewables sounds like a good idea.

Do I need an iron supplement if I'm not anemic? I know I need to take calcium. And I guess B Complex would be a good idea.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Fuckety. A's lose big today. Hope Texas can pound the Angels.

Also? Barry Bonds just hit his 4th home run since coming back last week. Apparently the one he hit last night into the upper deck of RFK is the longest ever hit there. He's already got one in today's game too.

It's so ridiculous to contemplate that he could come back in mid-September and actually push the Giants into contention.

They don't cancel each other out 100%, but they do to some degree. I'm just anal enough to try to avoid it.

Not above what you get in a multivitamin. Women tend to need more iron, b/c of the whole menstrual thing, but you don't need excessive amounts.

At the Pork Store Diner you can get fried liver and onions with a side of sauteed spinach. And then magnets stick to your ass.

They already do.

Hm. Perhaps I've said too much....

And I need to drink more water. I'm terrible about getting enough water.

Hockey starts on October 5! Tampa has played 2 preseasons games. In the first they beat Detroit 5-3, then yesterday they lost to Montreal 1-6. I'm not sure what line up they used for the two games. The Bolts website SUCKS big time.

It's so nice to go to ESPN and see the "scores" link under NHL.

Also, Hec -- you read Herself's LJ, right? She posted pictures of her new haircut today.

Like askye, I just checked my bottle of multivitamins. Teppy, do you have problems with the B-complex making you flush? I did, and it was actually painful.

I don't, but I also don't think the dose of niacin in my B-complex is high enough to make me flush. My dad takes a VERY high dose of niacin for cardioprotection, and it makes him flush, not painfully, but pretty intensely.
