Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

But he has a GF, or did, the last time I checked.

Still, maybe among his tribe, giving a girl a shirtless!Angel figure means we're betrothed.

Cool.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

It certainly should, if there's any justice in the universe.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Ginger, small sips of ginger ale.

askye, a little protein, some calcium (cheese, milk, calcium tablets) and B vitamins will probably help you chill. Fewer carbs, yes, probably a good idea. And all the calm-ma in the world to you.

Universe, you bastige. Back off, already! Enough!

What is even happening?

Oh Ginger, you poor woman. I will send over one of the cabana boys to hold your head, clean your bathroom, and bring you ginger ale.

Oh, Cindy! Is it raining toads outside your window, yet? What a shitty string of events!

No, but there was a FUCKING cricket in my dining room window sill. I don't know how it got there, or if it is one of the purchased crickets even, because I did the very traumatic cricket bag-to-crate transfer outside. And the crickets remained outside in their little crate until dh came home, at which point I had him transfer them to the cellar, so they wouldn't die of cold or be eaten by something that could open the case, like a lizard with opposable tongues or something.

I think he loves me. Plus, the little Angel figure has the option of being shirtless!!! How cute is that? And the head has a face on each side, so he can be vamp!Angel or non-vamp!Angel, according to my whim.

Plus Teppy, there's that smoocherific water...over...the bridge...under the damn kiss shot of B/A, a scene which is still capable of turning my knees to water.

Well, while there aren't a lot of things we eat while they are still alive, we do eat a lot of stuff that is raw. So, I think feeding an animal it's natural food is okay. No point trying to Disney it up by feeding them dry food all the time. Although, that does give you the opportunity to discuss the difference. Pets vs. wild animals, domesticated vs. tame, what's necessary for life, the sacrifices, etc.

I find it disturbing for first graders to keep a pet that requires them to feed it other living things. I don't have a problem with them learning about what animals do in the wild. I have a problem with animals being exploited to teach that lesson--one they could learn outside, or at an aquarium, or whatever. Also, it cost me $3.78 for three dozen crickets.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Don't send money. Is not hoax.

Oh dear. t sends comfort and pronouns to Boston

t has no pronouns left for self

t resolves to start calling self 'Bob Dole'

Does anyone else find it disturbing that the children have to feed live crickets to the lizard?

Not Bob Dole. 'Cause IT'S THE CIIIIIIRCLE [deep breath] THE CIIIIIRCLE OF LIIIIIIIIIIFE.

Could be worse. Wait till she gets to 6th grade and has to look after the school leopard.

Thrive to spite them

I'm feeling better. The food was good. I don't have any B vitamins. But I do have a multivitamin that I haven't been taking and I took that. I need to put that with my other meds so I'll take it at night.

Tomorrow I call and find out when I can see the nutritionist. Because obviously my diet is effecting (affecting?) my health. Right now I'm eating bagged salad striaght from the bag.

Oh man, I so suck. My mother stayed for dinner, but decided to go to her sister's for the night. Dh and I made it as clear as possible that we'd love to have her stay, but I think the water's already over that bridge/under that damn erm...dam.

She just left, and I realized I completely missed the wake for Polgara & Little Sister's mum. I missed it, because I've been having a whinge party for myself, over nothing.

I actually bought one of those plastic day-of-the-week pill containers and put my vitamins in it, so that I'd be able to tell on any given day if I'd taken them or not. (I don't take *that* many, but enough that opening several bottles, extracting a pill, closing several bottles, and putting them away -- every day -- was tedious enough that I'd just say fuck it.)

Or -- maybe I do take a lot. (1) Multivitamin (Flintstones chewables, b/c the American diet of even the most die-hard junk-food eater gives you *some* of the nutrients you need, and an "adult" multivitamin that has 100% is overkill, to me. Plus, I don't want a multivitamin with calcium AND iron, b/c they cancel each other out when taken together.), (2) B-complex (said to be good for the heart, and I have reason to want to take extra-good care of my heart), (3) a big honking fish oil supplement (see explanation for #2), and (4) probiotics for my gut (which I don't always take; just when my tummy acts up, and then I take them for a month).

Oh, and calcium, but I take that with dinner, so that I don't take it with my multi.

Is that a lot? Suddenly it sounds like a lot.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cindy, as funny as it was to read, I'm sorry about the suckage. It actually made me laugh when I really needed it. Christopher came home to announce a $500 reimbursement from our flex spending account was "lost" and I'd have to dig up all the receipts or get copies so he could file it again. I was nearly in tears because we could really use that money. Turns out I have copies in my files, but the delay is going to suck big time. *sigh*

I think he loves me. Plus, the little Angel figure has the option of being shirtless!!! How cute is that? And the head has a face on each side, so he can be vamp!Angel or non-vamp!Angel, according to my whim.

Teppy! That's so cool! Christopher went in to my old shop (now defunct) to buy my Buffy DVD's and the comic guy knew they were for me. He said, "I think I know your wife. Kind of cute, hates her job?" Too bad that place closed.

Ginger, I really hope you're feeling better quickly. Barfing sucks, as do high temps.

Thrive to spite them

I just checked my multivitamin -- Calcium and Iron, so I guess that's a waste right there. The kids chewables sounds like a good idea.

Do I need an iron supplement if I'm not anemic? I know I need to take calcium. And I guess B Complex would be a good idea.
