You'd never make it. I'd rip your spine out before you got half a step. Those little legs wouldn't be much good without one of those.

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

I'm laughing at Emily's tag, 'cause we haven't been back to the gym since. Although, we have GRAND plans.

Hey, Emily. Wanna go with me to LA in November? You could use another trip!

I'm sitting at my new job. They have nothing for me to do. Posting already...And I was gonna be good for at least a day...

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

We don't do DB connections anymore for the web, only XMLHTTPRequest, and I keep dealing with people who don't know what to do with raw XML.

Glower at it!

(What? It's worked for me since 2001.)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

If glowering at things is the key, I am shockingly underpaid for my skill set.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Dad was discharged from the hospital today, yay! I picked him up and got him settled in his apartment. He said he's not nearly as sore from the catheter being snaked through his femoral artery as he has been from previous procedures, which seems a good sign.

I took work with me when I left the office, and I just came home after getting Dad settled in. But right now, rather than do work, I'm going to take a nap. Oh, yes. Yes I am.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Someone tell me to step away from the House communities, please. I'm reading posts where folks are horribly shocked that House is being a jerk on the show. I suspect it wouldn't go over well for me to post, "That's what the character does. What show have you been watching?"

I'm glad your dad's home and settled, Steph.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

horribly shocked that House is being a jerk on the show

umm, huh?

umm, huh?

Uh-huh. He's especially mean to poor little cancer-stricken children. 'Cause he hates them, evidently.

I'm having one of those flashes where you wish a fictional character was real, so you could get together with him, point him at his detractors, and say, "Go to, buddy. Here's my keyboard."

Usually flashes like this are more related to the characters and leather pants, so this is a refreshing change.

Now tagless for your comfort.

horribly shocked that House is being a jerk on the show

I second the huh? He's an asshole. It's his raison d'etre.

I am glad your dad is home and in such good spirits, Tep.

I highly support the nap theory. Want nap.

umm, huh?
Right there with you...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I picked him up and got him settled in his apartment. He said he's not nearly as sore from the catheter being snaked through his femoral artery as he has been from previous procedures, which seems a good sign.

This is why it is so important to build up callouses on the inside of the femoral artery.
