Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction. Zoe: We live in a space ship, dear. Wash: So?

'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

umm, huh?

Uh-huh. He's especially mean to poor little cancer-stricken children. 'Cause he hates them, evidently.

I'm having one of those flashes where you wish a fictional character was real, so you could get together with him, point him at his detractors, and say, "Go to, buddy. Here's my keyboard."

Usually flashes like this are more related to the characters and leather pants, so this is a refreshing change.

Now tagless for your comfort.

horribly shocked that House is being a jerk on the show

I second the huh? He's an asshole. It's his raison d'etre.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I am glad your dad is home and in such good spirits, Tep.

I highly support the nap theory. Want nap.

umm, huh?
Right there with you...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I picked him up and got him settled in his apartment. He said he's not nearly as sore from the catheter being snaked through his femoral artery as he has been from previous procedures, which seems a good sign.

This is why it is so important to build up callouses on the inside of the femoral artery.

Thrive to spite them

He was nice to the cancer stricken girl! Not like Cameron would have been or Chase was, but he was still nice.

A) Yes, yes, yepperionie, House is supposed to be an asshole. That's one of the main points of the whole show.

B) He wasn't being especially assholish about the patient. He was failing to get all maudlin and emotional about the patient, and put his energy into, you know, fixing her problem. As he does. Which is a lot more useful than patting someone's hand and saying, "There, there, brave soldier."

He wasn't mooshy. He was honest and respectful to her (moreso than to some of his patients). Which I kind of liked.
