Ca-Bitches triple posting... Calli, Cash and Ca-me.
My brain feels like it is on cold meds. Floaty.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

He was nice to the cancer stricken girl! Not like Cameron would have been or Chase was, but he was still nice.
Teppy, I'm glad your Dad is back home and that he's not in alot of paint.
A) Yes, yes, yepperionie, House is supposed to be an asshole. That's one of the main points of the whole show.
B) He wasn't being especially assholish about the patient. He was failing to get all maudlin and emotional about the patient, and put his energy into, you know, fixing her problem. As he does. Which is a lot more useful than patting someone's hand and saying, "There, there, brave soldier."

He wasn't mooshy. He was honest and respectful to her (moreso than to some of his patients). Which I kind of liked.
Heh...x-post.
Teppy, I'm glad your dad is settled and less hurty than before.
This is why it is so important to build up callouses on the inside of the femoral artery.
Hey, he's been working on it for 12 years. Go Dad.
And go me, off to nap.
I'm going to have to master the art of the meara. It seems I have to catch up on hundreds of posts every time I get here. Sigh Stupid having to work for a living.
Laura is me. Honestly, I know that there are people on the board who work AND have lives AND can keep up, but I have absolutely no idea how they do it.
For individual UMP PPO subscribers, the 2006 rate will be $14 a month, less than half the current rate of $33. Full-family coverage will cost $49 a month next year; the 2005 family rate is $101 a month.
Damn. I pay over $100 per pay period (twice a month) for health, dental, vision, prescription insurance. And that's just my portion. I thought that folks who work for the government were supposed to have such wonderful benefits to make up for the craptastic salaries.
You see, after a few months of night sweats, (ETA some minor irregularity with my period), fatigue, and little accidents, I went in to talk to my doc about premature menopause.
I've been thinking of making an appointment for just these symptoms. Perhaps I'll try supplements for a week. If that doesn't work, I'll give them a few days to flush and go in. My psoriasis is actually getting a little better, so I was getting all happy about not having to go to the doctor. I'm just not ready to lose that no-doctor happiness.
I'm reading posts where folks are horribly shocked that House is being a jerk on the show. I suspect it wouldn't go over well for me to post, "That's what the character does. What show have you been watching?"
I made it home to watch the second half of House. I really am going to have to figure out how to make the VCR work. Or, I'm sure it will come out on DVD eventually, right? Anyway, I was actually kind of pleased to see the drug use get worse. I can't imagine that he isn't going to have to do something about it soon.
Next maybe they can join Homicide fandom and get surprised that Frank thinks he's big shit.
Frank thinks he's big shit.
I am shocked, shocked and appalled.
