I had the "but he's my dad" experience about 10 years ago, only since I never actually saw my dad while he was sick, I'm sure I'll be in for it again someday.
Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Thanks. I'm thinking, naturally, that today calls for cake.
This is where I find the interbunny X-TRA frustrating, because that was my first instinct when I read your post--to bring you cake, which we'd totally share with Teppy. But in order for that to happen, between Christopher's school schedule, and Ben & Julia's, you'd both have to live in my town, and put your dads in the same hospital. Oh, and the cabana boys would double as babysitters.

Well, that's an interesting idea.
I don't want cake. I just want a nap, and someone comforting to read me a bedtime story and snuggle me until I fall asleep.
There is, however, a shortage of such things in my world. Which sucks.
Aimee -- I am so sorry for your loss.
Vibes to everyone else who needs them -- what a bad start to the week.
And I forgot to send my recipe too. Well, it's not that great anyway.

Heart~ma for Tep and AmyLiz's dads. You should totally have cake.
Punctuation to everybody that needs it.
The kids and I made dirt cake this weekend. It was quite good.

Would you kick AmyLiz and me out of bed for eating crackers cake?
Send the recipes! It will take the cookbook team a couple days to get all the ones we've already received formatted anyway, so you can totally sneak a couple in under the wire.
I just saw a billboard advertising "Lady M Lingerie," with the slogan "F..k like a Lady."
Although, judging by the model's figure, it should've been "F..k like a 2x4."
Any case, I'm heading back with my camera.

Heart~ma to Tep's and AmyLiz's fathers.
he's my Dad! he's not supposed to be sick!
Boy, do I understand that! After my dad's strokes last year, he became really old. He's 68, but he seems older than that. He's frail and in a wheelchair and every time I see him, I think, "You're my daddy. You're supposed to be strong and healthy!" Pisses me off, frankly. Not him, that fact that he's getting old pisses me off.
