I could swear there was something in this post when I posted it.
It happened in movies just now too.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

2nd try!
Everyone's posts are blank, and it's freaking me out. Quick, check the basement for pods!

I'm so frigging relieved it's not my kids acting up,
I find I'm immune because I'm too busy trying to get Leif to behave.
I hate "Alistair", JZ. I hate to tell you this since we don't talk that often, and your covers are lovely, but it would take all the blue-eyed soul on the planet Earth to cut through that much, um, "weenie" as that name gives off, babe.
Alistair makes me think of Alistair Cookie from Monsterpiece Theatre. And if you have an Alistair Sprog, I promise you that is what I will call him.
Alastair makes me think more of angry Scots and satanists than upper-class twits, now that I think of it. That may be why I didn't get the virulent playground-abuse reaction.
Dude, erika, don't worry. No offense. Alistair isn't even my favored name, just Hec's muddled impression of my favored name. It also took quite a while to disabuse him of the notion that I wanted to name our imaginary child Eustace. As. If.

It really depends where I am. The rare books room at UNC's Wilson library? No one should be drooling, shrieking, or waving a sippy-cup. The park? "Family style" restaurants? The 5 pm showing of a Love Bug movie? Of course there will be kids. I only have myself to blame if I go there and let kid-related sounds and sights get my back up.
vw is a-nap at the moment, and I am here to... uh... well, I helped her get to bed. That's important, right?
Anyway, just so nobody worries about anything awful happening.
Emily, that's very important and you know she'd be the first one to say it.
