Spike's Bitches 26: Damn right I'm impure!

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Shallowness ahoy:

I really really really want to get my hair cut like this on Saturday.

However, my time & money issues with maintenance (and my hair grows fast enough that I'd need to visit Marcie at least every 3 weeks) probably means that I'll get something that looks like this, but in red.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I like them both, juliana. Please grace us with beeeyootiful pictures of yourself when you're recoifed.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I am a Cleric Elf with a halfling and full body armor as well as a mace. I pput a shrinking spell on the dragon and smash him with my mace.

I win.

Well played, Aims. Sadly, the only treasure was actually a curse, which puts a duck on your head.

I was thinking "Throw Sean, our gnome illusionist into the room, then slam the door shut and run like hell."

I never play gnome illusionists. Why? The single most popular sporting activity in any and every D&D game world I've ever seen is invariably Throw the Gnome Illusionist in the Lake.

What is even happening?

Oh juliana, I think they'd both look fantastic on you.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

j, you would look hot with hair down to your ass, you betcha. But that first cut doesn't look any more difficult to maintain than the second one.

My hair is all re-shortified, as of Monday, and my stylist and I made plans to color my hair brown in another couple of months. Something new and wintery.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I wish you lived closer just so I could

Me too! (I might have filled in my own blanks here a little)

Ah, it's the chorus of There Really Should Be a Buffista Island again. Such a plaintive refrain.

Why am I not in San Diego today instead of here in meetings?

With two charming ladies who'd be pleased as punch to be nice to you? Why indeed? Quite the questionable decision-making, that.

It's been twitchy near mom's house too. Swarm of little earthquakes yesterday. And by swarm, I mean over a hundred and by little, I mean nothing much over 4.5 and by yesterday, I mean I haven't checked today.

How big of a dork am I that I get whiny 'cuz I never feel earthquakes?

"I've got a gun! I've got a mother-flippin' gun!" - Moss, The IT Crowd

Spider gone, Plei? Good good.

T. Gigantea? Yup, they are big buggers. And fast. Held the world record for spider speed until 1987. they've been clocked at 1.73 ft / sec or something.

Anyway, I had to go into the basement last night because I'd forgot to shut a window. I caught two T Giganteas who had obviously frozen in place because they were all "What the fuck? Where'd the light come from?"

Anyway, I chucked them outside. One was about 3" across, the other 3.5". And I ain't talking flattened out, that's just how big they are with their legs in a standard posture.

I'm afraid of spiders too, just less so than Jilli.

I have a modest proposal (no, there will be no baby-eating -- except maybe the toes....) -- how would people feel about the idea of making Bitches a Hurricane-Free Zone?

By that, I just mean this: it's totally normal for people to be talking about the hurricane and its aftermath; this is a disaster of staggering proportions, and I don't say that lightly. That said, the news reports are upsetting me so much (as well they should), every time someone posts a snippet of an article about death and mayhem, I just want to BEG for a bullshit consensus to make one thread (*any* thread; I don't care which, but I need to know which one to go to) a hurricane-free zone.

I'm not saying people shouldn't talk about it, but I was wondering if it might be possible to bullshit consense on making Bitches a respite from the hurricane discussion?

PLEASE don't think I'm trying to steamroll the thread/board, because if people think it's a bad idea, that's fine. I won't throw a fit.

It's just an idea, to create an oasis of calm.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I was just coming to suggest the same thing, Steph. I consense.

What is even happening?

My bullshit consenses with Steph's. I have been talking about it, but there are times when I need to read/talk about anything but.
