Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Has this been linked to? Tom Waits on Fernwood Tonight - performing "The Piano Has Been Drinking" and chatting with the hosts afterwards.
I might've linked that before when I was spamming the thread with Waitsian links. Tom also guested on one of Martin Mull's albums.

Lastly, young Mick is still a sexy bitch.

Yeah, but the Who doing "A Quick One" is the best thing everThe Who fucking rock. I could listen to Who's Next over and over and over
Last night I was in the kitchen cooking or something and turned on the radio and they had some special on Joni Mitchell. It was chockful of teeny interview snippets of Joni talking about her life and her early work and others talking about the same.
It just seemed. . . odd so I had this sudden horrible thought that something bad had happened. That's not true, is it?
