Do they have a new album out or something? I just have the one that came out about four years ago.
The new album is due out this fall. They've been recording the last couple of months. They don't all live in the same city anymore so logistics are difficult.
FYI:
Absolutely dreadful is the only way to describe No Hats Beyond This Point, the 2003 record from Men Without Hats. Yes they are still around, although I didn't know that until somebody sent me this record out of the blue. Of course this is final proof that any band from the 80s that got marginal success will do anything to reform and rob you of your money. Don't be conned!

Actually, that link has a bunch of info about a whole bunch of different bands....
This is amusing. Dylan Hears a Who: [link]
Hee!
eta: Right now I'm listening to "The Cat in the Hat." My boss asked me, "Where do you
find
this stuff?"
Very cute. There\'s something about the breathing that gives it away though.

In a similar vein, have folks heard this?: [link]
There was some discussion on the board where I got the Dylan link as to whether these were the works of the same people.
Hec should go to this:
Heh - JZ just alerted me to this act yesterday.
heavily influenced by the doo-wop arrangements of Bacharach and Phil Spector
Hmph. Spector and Bacharach did not arrange doo-wop songs.
JZ's article said Girl Groups by way of Velvet Underground.
I lean Spector more than Bacharach on her sound. Her song "God Knows (You Gotta Give To Get)" is a near-perfect slice of Girl Group music with a modern ironic razor wit. One of my favorite tracks of last year.
Did anyone already post the outcry over Prince's appearance at the Super Bowl? That's the source of my awesome tagline: [link]
