I can't wait to see how Cassidy, Dick Jr. and Kendall will fare now that the Big Dick has gone off, leaving his family in shambles.
I told Mr. Jane last night that all of these kids are going to end up without parent.
Also, I do think Veronica is being judgy about Jackie. Perfectly in character and understandable. She's a lot like Lilly, and yet not Lilly. She's an 09er who's infiltrated her low rent part of her life, and she's probably a little jealous. As far as her being a bitch to her dad, he's a sports star. I'd wager he moved her around a lot whenever his contract was up with whatever team, or got traded.
Whoa. That ep was good. (yes, I'm behind as always). I liked it muchly.
I actually didn't like Beaver as much as I have before, just to throw that out against the storm. Still an awesome character, but not quite as awesome as I would've liked, I guess.
But... real estate fraud! That's big business. I totally like it. Plus, Big Dick's walk-and-shred was AWESOME.
Can Cassidy go all Goth and tragic now that he has reason to handstapleforehead? Goth Beaver would rock.
I mean, he's looked like he's wearing eyeliner for most of the season, the least they can do is pander further to my tastes.
Today, I am still liking Jackie, and still will be miffed if they make Alicia into YetAnotherBadMommy.
Veronica jumped to conclusions when she saw Jackie with the Random Dude (heh), because she was already unfavorably predisposed toward her. (See? Like Elizabeth jumped to snap-conclusions about Darcy!)
Nice, Vonnie!
Ooh! and Courteney Taylor-Taylor! I loved him too, even though the karaoke scene seemed a bit pointless and he is a huge pretentious cheeseball.
Is that who was singing Love Hurts in that over-extended karaoke scene? A little too meta for my tastes.
Who is C T-T? Which is clearly what I shall call him from now on.
Singer for the Dandy Warhols, whose song is the VM theme.
Hah! And we listen to them all the time. I must go tell Mr. Jane like RIGHT NOW.
Are they one of those obscure bands RT like championing, or some new bubblegum pop up-and-comers?
Both, actually. He didn't realize they were going to, like, have their song used in an iPod commercial and shit.

Get used to it. Rob plans on more cameos like that. The singer isn't identified as a band member, they don't sing one of their own songs, and then one of their songs is used in the episode. I hope it's underplayed even more the next time, though.
Plus, Big Dick's walk-and-shred was AWESOME.
It did give the impression that the company had weekly shredding drills.

I was wondering about that scene. It made no sense to me in the context of the show.
