Thank God, tiggy.
I felt like my show had returned this week, but not entirely.

tiggy, I'm running out the door, so this is just notice, not a proper thanks. Either the DVDs arrived, or some random woman in your state, who shares your name, is sending me stuff. Thank you thank you thank you!

agreed, P-C. still a few things i had quibbles with, but overall they seem to be finding their stride. not a whole lot differently than last season actually. it took a few episodes for me to fall in love.
you're welcome, Cindy! now go watch and get outta this thread 'til you're all caught up!
Teppy, the conversation with her father (especially, given tv cliches, combined with her whole "bad girl" thing) had that vibe to me. Just the obvious choice (IMO) for "Why you really had to leave". It does kinda seem like a Some Other Show answer, though.
Ha! Joss is complaining about he lack of commmentary in Season 1 VM. Those in glass houses...
What do you mean? Joss did tons of commentaries for the Buffy DVDs.
But very little in Season 1. He did the short little commentaries that were on the original VHS release (6 of the 12 episodes). As to the DVDs commentaries for season 1, I think he just did part of the pilot. (More in later years, but not much in Season 1.)
He did full commentaries for both "Welcome to the Hellmout" and "The Harvest."
Oh, and Rob will be posting a commentary for the VM pilot on his website on Tuesday.

really? eeeeeexcellent!
I think a lack of commentaries on episodes was the biggest criticism I heard about the early season DVD's of Buffy. There were some, but not enough. And Joss has talked publicly about how he hated doing them, but now the shoe's on the other foot.
