I don't like vampires. I'm gonna take a stand and say they're not good.

Hey. New board.

but I then wonder why we even had the voting booth scene at all.

I think just to remind us that voting was happening right THEN.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That was kind of an Angelesque moment - Veronica doing her bit, knowing that it probably wouldn't make a difference, in the rain.

What is even happening?

but I then wonder why we even had the voting booth scene at all.

I think just to remind us that voting was happening right THEN.

I think for what -t notes was an Angelesque moment. It showed Veronica doing what she could, even though she could do nothing. I think it was also there to drive home that she lost the election for Keith. Poor Veronica. She started out the series saying the people who love you let you down. She finished the series letting down the person she most loves.

The finale knocked my socks off, by the way. I don't have much to say about it, because every single time I start, I get lost in thought about it.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

Thanks, le nubian. And that made me want to try VM again (I bailed out in the first season as I just forgot to keep watching)

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

What? Kevin, don't make me hit you. Get to watching.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

It's okay, you can hit me. Truth be told, I sometimes wait for shows I think I might like to get canceled before watching them, as I know I can pace myself through it and know where the end is going to be. Plus, too many shows at once leads to erratic(er) Kevin.

Re: The article

"Veronica lacked the budget, and the wild visual and narrative pyrotechnics, that make the likes of Lost and Battlestar Galactica so buzzworthy."

I know VM was made pretty cheaply, but didn't it still have about twice the budget of BSG? BSG airs on the Sci-Fi channel, after all.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

BSG has a pretty generous budget. It is shared by Sky One (someone correct me if I am wrong). I'm sure it is at least double that of VM.
